As a kid, I perhaps enjoyed the "making of" special features on DVDs more than the films themselves. I was fascinated by the filmmaking process and how the magic was made. I devoured every behind the scenes showcase I could get my hands on, desperate to learn the tricks of the trade.

This passion led me to film school, where I learned the artistic and technical craft of transforming a simple idea into a fully realized display of cinematic art. I discovered that I felt most at home in the editing bay, but I still enjoyed many of the other aspects of filmmaking.

Straight out of college, I began work as a musician and videographer with Cru, a worldwide Christian college ministry. I worked as a professional videographer for Cru's in-house media and design firm, Creative One Media, for 12 years. The flexibility offered in such an organization as well as the breadth of project requests we receive has enabled me to hone my skills in many types of videos, from vision pieces to video testimonies, from music videos to motion graphics.
